PRODUCT

A quick drying nitrocellulose based pigmented topcoat for wooden substrates. The product is more suitable for interior application. It’s fast drying property enhances productivity by quick turnaround time. The product is available in gloss, matt & silk- matt version.

Another variant of this product for application over metal substrate for Auto repair

system is also available.

SURFACE PREPARATION AND APPLICATION 

The product is best applied by conventional spray although application by brush is possible over a small area. Avoid brush application over a large surface area.

Ensure wood is dry, clean & free from contaminants. Sand the surface with a coarse (P180) followed by fine sand paper (P 400) along the direction of grains. Dust off the surface & apply a coat of Britex filler if required. Allow it to dry for 1 hr & sand off the excess filler & clean the surface. Apply a coat of Britex N.C primer surfacer after thinning with NC thinner. Allow it to dry for one & half hour, flat the surface using P400 Emery paper, dust off & apply two coats of Britex N.C pigmented top coat after thinning with NC thinner.

STORAGE AND HANDLING

Storage & Disposal Store in cool, dry condition keeping container tightly closed in accordance with petroleum (mixture) order, SRO 1929 No 993. & dispose by controlled land fill as per requirement of statutory authority. Don’t empty into drains, sewers or other water courses.

Flash Point           : Below 20oC,Highly flammable.

Shelf Life             : Upto 12 months in closed condition

SAFETY PRECAUTIONS AND FIRST AID

  • Avoid contact with the skin and eyes. Wear suitable protective clothing such as overalls, goggles, dust mask and gloves. Use a barrier cream.
  • Ensure that there is adequate ventilation in the area where the product is being applied. Do not breathe vapor or spray.
  • This product is flammable. Keep away from sources of ignition. Do not smoke. Take precautionary measures against static discharge. In case of fire, blanket flames with foam, carbon-dioxide or dry chemicals.
  • Eyes & Skin: In the event of accidental splashes, flush eyes with warm water & wash skin with mild soap and seek quick medical advice. Never use solvent for cleaning the affected areas.
  • Inhalation & Ingestion: Remove to fresh air, loosen collar. Don’t induce vomiting.
