Product

Britex Weathershield Thermo is flexible thermal insulation as well as a concrete protection coating based on acrylic emulsion. It is based on high quality binder which provides maximum protection to dry film. Its attractive texture hides the imperfections on the surface when applied with a sponge roller or trowel.

Application Condition :  Apply this product only if Relative Humidity is less than 90% and substrate temperature is minimum 10°C & above 3°C the dew point. Moisture content should be 12-20%

Surface Preparation & Application

After ensuring that surface is clean, dry & free of organic contaminants apply one coat of Britex Acrylic Primer followed by a coat of Britex Penetrating Primer or Britex Tex Primer and allow it to dry. Do not use filler in case of exterior application. Smoothen the surface by sanding. Dust it off and apply one coat of Britex Weathershield Thermo.

Storage & Handling

Storage & Disposal             : Store under cool & dry condition with adequate ventilation. Dispose in land fill as per guidance of statutory authority Do not empty the cans in drains, sewers, or other water courses.

Safety Precautions & First Aid
  • Avoid contact with the skin and eyes. Wear protective clothing such as overalls, goggles, dust mask and gloves. Use a barrier cream.
  • Ensure that there is adequate ventilation in the area where the product is being applied. Do not breathe vapor or spray.
  • In case of accidental splashes wash the eyes with water & skin with mild soap & water. Never use solvent for cleaning body.
  • In case of inhalation & ingestion expose the person to fresh air & finally consult doctor as quickly as possible.
