Product

An Acrylic copolymer emulsion based heavy texture coating containing Rutile, Quartz, Mica & Alkali resistant extenders. The product is flexible with excellent weather resistance & resistant to fungi, algae. The high build formulation of the product makes it very durable exterior finish with ability to hide surface irregularities & cover minor surface cracks.

Application Condition :  Apply this product only if Relative Humidity is less than 90% and substrate temperature is minimum 10°C & above 3°C the dew point. Moisture content should be 12-20%

Surface Preparation & Application

Concrete, Plaster, Masonry, Brickwork, Blockwork Ensure surface is clean, dry, and free from all contaminants. Surface must be sound and free from laitance. Remove laitance by wire brush followed by wiping with dry rag. This coating can be applied directly without priming. However, for low porosity surface it is advisable to apply a thin coat of Britex Alkali Resistant Primer or Britex Tex Primer before application of top coat.

For Pre-painted Surfaces If the surface is chalking or containing loose /friable material, ensure removal of all friable/ loose material by a stiff bristled brush and scraping. Thoroughly dust down the entire surface. apply one coat of Britex Alkali Resistant Primer or Britex Tex Primer before application of top coat.

On Timber & MDF surface Thoroughly clean the surface using coarse sand paper wipe it clean. Apply a coat of Wellcoat Universal Primer allow it to dry. Do a little de-nibbing (sanding ) & apply top coat.

Storage & Handling

Storage & Disposal : Store under cool & dry condition with adequate ventilation. Dispose in land fill as per guidance of statutory authority Do not empty the cans in drains, sewers, or other water courses.

Safety Precautions & First Aid
  • Avoid contact with the skin and eyes. Wear protective clothing such as overalls, goggles, dust mask and gloves. Use a barrier cream.
  • Ensure that there is adequate ventilation in the area where the product is being applied. Do not breathe vapor or spray.
  • In case of accidental splashes wash the eyes with water & skin with mild soap & water. Never use solvent for cleaning body.
  • In case of inhalation & ingestion expose the person to fresh air & finally consult doctor as quickly as possible.
