Product

A premium quality water-based paint based on 100% pure acrylic emulsion pigmented with rutile titanium dioxide and light / alkali resistant pigments and extenders. The product has excellent scrub resistance, wash ability, having high crack bridge ability up to 0.1 to 1 mm and excellent dirt pickup resistance. The biocides content in the product is adequate to resist fungus and algae growth under interior or exterior application condition thus making it suitable for both purposes.

Surface Preparation & Application

For optimal performance substrates need to be properly prepared as outlined below

Concrete, Plaster, Masonry New & unpainted surface Ensure surface is clean, dry, and free from all contaminants including Mould, Algae& Fungus by wire brushing followed by flushing with clean water.

Interior : Apply one coat of Britex Alkali Resistant Primer, allow to dry. Apply enough Britex Stucco Putty for obliteration of irregularities. Allow to dry. Smoothen the surface with sand paper & dust off. Apply two coats of Weathershield Matt Emulsion.

Exterior: Apply one coat of Britex Alkali resistant primer or Britex Acrylic primer and allow to dry. Do not use Filler in exterior application. Apply two coats of Weathershield Matt Emulsion

Storage & Handling

Storage & Disposal: Store in cool, dry condition. & dispose by controlled land fill as per requirement of statutory authority. Don’t empty into drains, sewers or other water courses.

Shelf Life             : Upto 12 months under sealed condition.

Safety Precautions & First Aid
  • Avoid contact with the skin and eyes. Wear protective clothing such as overalls, goggles, dust mask and gloves. Use a barrier cream.
  • Ensure that there is adequate ventilation in the area where the product is being applied. Do not breathe vapour or spray.
  • In case of accidental splashes wash the eyes with water & skin with mild soap & water. Never use solvent for cleaning body.
  • In case of inhalation & ingestion expose the person to fresh air & finally consult doctor as quickly as possible.
