Product

A Solvent borne single pack thermoplastic acrylic resin with good water, chemical & weather resistance. The Product is based on Rutile grade titanium dioxide & high quality pigments & extenders to bolster weather & chemical resistance. The product is designed to perform as anti-carbonation coating when used as topcoat in Texo Tile hybrid system.

Surface Preparation & Application

For unpainted surface

Concrete, Plaster, Masonry, Gypsum, Brickwork& Blockwork: Clean surface from all contaminants & laitance by wire brush or sweep blast followed by dry ragging. Apply a coat of Britex alkali resistant primer or tex primer followed by Britex Texo Compound & allow to dry over night before application of Supercryl.

For Prepainted Surfaces (Concrete, masonry, gypsum etc) Previously painted surface should be freed of chalking or friable material by wire brushing scrapping followed by dusting down with dry rag & allow to dry before application o Supercryl.

Timber & Metal surface: Clean the surface thoroughly using sandpaper & dust it using clean rag. Apply directly over wooden or metal substrate two coats of Supercryl by spray with a gap of 2-3 hrs between each coat.

Storage & Handling

Storage & Disposal           : Store under cool & dry condition with adequate ventilation. Dispose in land fill as per guidance of statutory authority Do not empty the cans in drains, sewers, or other water courses.  Flash point                        : 27oC                                                                                                                      Shelf life                           : 12 months in closed condition

Safety Precautions & First Aid
  • Avoid contact with the skin and eyes. Wear protective clothing such as overalls, goggles, dust mask and gloves. Use a barrier cream.
  • Ensure that there is adequate ventilation in the area where the product is being applied.
