Product

A premium quality silk finish emulsion primarily intended for interior use. The product is based on acrylic co-polymer emulsion & high percentage of premium quality pigments. It has superb wet scrub resistance, resistance to fungus & algae & almost odor free. A beautiful velvet finish with wide variety of soothing shades coupled with resistance to scrub & micro-organism growth make this product an ideal choice for interior of luxury homes & high traffic areas requiring regular cleaning. The product is environment friendly & easy to apply.

Surface Preparation & Application

For optimal performance substrates need to be properly prepared as outlined below     Concrete, Plaster, Masonry New & unpainted surface Ensure surface is clean, dry, and free from all contaminants including Mould, Algae& Fungus by wired brush followed by flushing with clean water.                                                                                                                                      Interior: Apply one coat of Britex Alkali Resistant Primer , allow to dry. Apply enough Britex Stucco Putty for obliteration of irregularities. Allow to dry. Smoothen the surface with sand paper & dust off. Apply two coats of Supercoat Silk Emulsion Or one coat of Supercoat Matt Emulsion followed by one or two coats of Supercoat Silk Emulsion.                                      Exterior: Apply one coat of Britex Alkali resistant primer or Britex Acrylic primer and allow to dry. Do not use Filler in exterior application. Apply two coats of Supercoat Silk Emulsion.

Storage & Handling

Storage & Disposal : Store under cool & dry condition with adequate ventilation. Dispose in land fill as per guidance of statutory authority Do not empty the cans in drains, sewers, or other water courses.                                                                                                                                                 Flash point        : Not Applicable                                                                                                                      Shelf life        : 12 months in closed condition

Safety Precautions & First Aid
  • Avoid contact with the skin and eyes. Wear protective clothing such as overalls, goggles, dust mask and gloves. Use a barrier cream.
  • Ensure that there is adequate ventilation in the area where the product is being applied. Do not breathe vapour or spray.
  • In case of accidental splashes wash the eyes with water & skin with mild soap & water. Never use solvent for cleaning body.
  • In case of inhalation & ingestion expose the person to fresh air & finally consult doctor as quickly as possible.
